Raymond Choi, D.D.S.

Dr.Raymond Choi graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, CA with a bachelors degree in Biology and received D.D.S. from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry in 1987.  He has taught at USC School of Dentistry for 10 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor in TMJ/Facial Pain Clinic.  He has completed TMJ/Facial Pain Preceptorship at UCLA School of Dentistry and had a part time Orofacial Pain practice in Pasadena, CA and was a director of Orofacial Pain Section of the Pasadena Rehabilitation Institute, an interdisciplinary pain management center.  Dr.Choi had received hospital privilege under dental section at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles, CA. 

Dr.Choi has been placing and restoring dental implants, including most bone grafting procedures, in his private general practice in Tustin, CA for many years.  He has completed numerous implant training programs and is a graduate of  Misch International Implant Institute.  Dr.Choi currently is a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a credentialed Associate Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

Dr.Choi was one of the first dentists in the west coast to use IMTEC Sendax mini dental implants for long term stabilization of the loose dentures.  He has trained thousands of dentists in US and internationally on various topics on implant dentistry.  He has lectured in Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand and Mexico.  Dr.Choi has been conducting IMTEC mini dental implant mini-residency in CA since 2002 and founded Global Mini implant Institute (GMI)  in order to help dentists worldwide in improving clinical mini implant success rate more predictably and avoid complications.
